If April’s showers bring May flowers, we are ready for them! May brings flowering trees, blossoming flowers, and plenty of sunshine, which makes it the perfect month to celebrate moms! Mother’s Day is May 12th, and we’ve gathered a list of places to take mom in the Asheville area.

Discounts for Mom

Biltmore is charging a discounted $25 admission for all moms when they are accompanied by another adult ticket purchaser on May 11 and 12. “A Vanderbilt House Party: The Gilded Age” clothing exhibit is still running through the end of the month, and features reproductions of clothes worn by the Vanderbilts and their guests during the grand parties at the house in the early 20th century. Biltmore Blooms, which highlights the spring flowers in the gardens across the estate, also continues through May 23.

Chimney Rock Park is offering free admission for mom when a regular-priced adult ticket is purchased with the coupon from their website.

Mom can zip line for free with a paid guest at Navitat Canopy Tours on Mother’s Day.
